Join Girl Scout Troop 52251, along with your furry friends, for a Blessing of the Animals Service on Saturday, 10/5, 9:00 am-10:00 am, in the church's patio by fellowship hall. This activity is part of the scouts' Silver Award, their goal is to enrich the lives of shelter animals and pets in need. Donations are welcomed. Unused dog, cat, and/or rabbit food, litter, treats, toys, as well as financial donations are given to Animal Friends Chow Wagon Food Bank, which helps pet-owning families keep their fourlegged family members by providing pet supplies.
